hi guys,

I decided to register an account on github to share some of my coding projects with the world. By now I only uploaded huntersim so far but some others will follow soon. If you want to help me by commenting or patching it, feel free to do so. Get an account at github.com and tell me you account name by mail. I could then add you to the collaborators and you can submit your changes directly. If you just want to take a look or run the program you can of course just clone the repository without registration.

The public clone URL is: git://github.com/ap0calypse/huntersim.git

You can clone the repository with the following command:

git clone git://github.com/ap0calypse/huntersim.git

So, if you want to contribute to the project (or fork it, whatever) tell me your username and I add you to the collaborators. You should have some git knowledge. But don’t be scared. You can’t destroy anything :P

one step forward

hi guys,

in near future you’ll see more articles because I decided to quit my current job and start to study biology ;) .

I’m going to do my job until 23th of September.

Hooray! They found a way!

As I wrote earlier, the “Wiener Linien” didn’t want to place the sujets from the atheist bus campaign on their busses, but the campaign found another way:

I’m glad they found a way!

hi guys,

some days ago I decided to write a little simulation in Perl. Well, … here is the result (huntersim-0.1). The package contains a README where everything should be explained.

Have FUN!

Atheist bus campaign stopped in Vienna

Hi guys,

As you maybe already know, there are several campaigns around the world who want to spread the message of atheism to the world. One of these campaigns is the so called “bus-campaign”. They want to put a poster on a bus with the message:

“Es gibt mit an Sicherheit grenzender Wahrscheinlichkeit keinen Gott. Werte sind menschlich. Es liegt an uns”

However, the “Wiener Linien” stopped this campaign.

It’s absolutely ridiculous! I hope that all those stupid religions will die out as soon as possible!

I WAS WRONG!

hi guys,

I just discovered that I was completely wrong in my opinion concerning the “bite inhibition” of dogs and/or wolves. I thought (and I guess that 95 % of the people also do) that the wolf which offers his throat is the inferior one, but that’s WRONG. Erik Zimen disproved this. My earlier opinion was that the superior wolf is “social” and doesn’t want to kill a member of his pack. Well, everyone is learning. So am I.

But I guess, that most of the people won’t like this point, because it’s not social enough. ;)

Hi guys,

I don’t know if anyone of you have ever heard of this plant,

but I’m quite sure, that most of the European citizens have already seen it. Most of them don’t even know, that this plant doesn’t belong to Europe, but to Asia. I recently recognized an increase of that invasive plant which often overgrows local plants and therefore steals their habitats. Maybe this growth could get very dangerous in future, because I noticed that the habitats have changed very fast over the last years. What do you think about this issue?
